I presented two series of Radio 4's 'The Male Room', a late-night show offering airtime to the discussions men don't often broadcast. We've featured frank conversations about inadequacy, fatherhood, dating and many other male hang-ups.

The first series ran in December 2016, with guests including an anxious firefighter, a policeman with PTSD, and conversations about heroism and anger. The second series, including episodes on dating, fatherhood and male sexuality in a post-Weinstein world, was broadcast in February 2018. You can catch up here.

Also on Radio 4, I co-hosted the two-part documentary 'Podcasting: The First Ten Years' with Helen Zaltzman.

The show, which aired in April 2014, commemorated the tenth anniversary of the word 'podcast' being coined by Ben Hammersley. It was produced by Trevor Dann and can be heard here.

In Episode One, we examine how podcasting originated in a world of geeks and nerds, before finding mainstream success thanks to the likes of Ricky Gervais. Our interviewees include Adam Curry, Marc Maron, Betty In The Sky With A Suitcase, Pete Donaldson and Grammar Girl.

In Episode Two, we look at how podcasters used their popularity to carve media careers and even make six figure revenues. Our interviewees include Keith and the Girl, Richard Herring, Roman Mars, John Oliver and Andy Zaltzman.
